one of my favs: Tolkien's
Salam.
Semalam Wardina dalam satu rancangan kata yang dalam dunia ni kita memang sentiasa penat. Kalau nak rehat, rehat di Jannah. Saya sangat setuju dengan kata kata beliau. Mesti lah kita nak kerja kuat2 di dunia ni, tapi tak boleh jugak kalau nak kejar duniawi sahaja. Maksudnya, kerja at the same time we try to find the BALANCE. Seimbang career, family, personal interest and social networking.
Hari ni saya nak kupas tentang Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Saya tak perlu untuk menerangkan sinopsis dan plot cerita cerita ni. The theme of the story, for me, focuses on the idea of good and evil. Saya sangat suka The Hobbit and LOTR sebab the moral values yang saya belajar from them. First, of course, the courage yang ditunjukkan oleh Frodo. Not tempted by the spirit of the ring, saya sgt respect kekuatan beliau. Dah la size nya kecil, tak tahu the way nak ke mordor, tapi he's willing to bear the burden. He once wished yang semua tu tak berlaku, tapi lepas patah semangat, dia bangkit semula. The same spirit also ditunjukkan oleh Bilbo Baggins :)
Kedua, nilai murni berani mengexplore benda baru, keep traveling. Saya sangat respect dengan keinginan mereka untuk keluar dari Shire, look at different wonders of the world, enjoy the nature. Mesmrized by the beauty of ciptaan Tuhan. And of course, the journey itself teaches them macam macam benda, and most importantly, matures them. Semestinya, once the four hobbits balik Shire, they are no longer the same person. Dah ubah jadi orang yang much better and the way they view life must have totally changed.
Ketiga, semangat persahabatan yang ditunjukka oleh Sam and Frodo. Kesetiaan yang ditunjukkan oleh beliau sangat saya admire dan perlu dicontohi oleh kita semua. Tanggungjawab untuk membawa the ring to mordor dan hapuskan nya bukan lah satu tugas yang mudah. Even so, beliau berjaya menemankan Frodo sampai selesai tugasnya. Sam is definitely a good friend. :)
Sebenarnya banyak lagi moral values yang boleh dibincangkan di sini, my favorite Gandalf, Aragorn yang sangat impressive, si kenit kenit from Shire tapi tu semua kita boleh cari dan belajar from them. Ini hanya lah instant post selepas rewatch LOTR 1 and the hobbit. Saya rasa the story line by Tolkien is so great, the greatest I believe and I will keep encouraging people to watch/read. I honestly haven't read the book, but it's in my bucket list and insyaAllah I will try to read it. Mesti lagi best kan?
